Concierge Academy: advanced and further training

In cooperation with the Concierge Academy der Goldenen Schlüssel e.V. guided tours were organized for the young professionals of concierges.

“Dezember 2012 startete die erste Concierge Akademie unter neuer Leitung. Auf dem Tagesplan stand eine winterliche Stadtführung. Katharina Schmidle erklärte sich bereit uns ein wenig über die Geschichte der Stadt und der der Weihnachtsmärkte zu unterrichten. Treffpunkt war der Fischbrunnen mitten am Marienplatz wo uns gleich die Tradition des Münchener Weihnachtsmarktes nahe gelegt wurden. Bereits im 14. Jahrhundert sollen so genannte Nikolausmärkte stattgefunden haben. Veranschaulicht wurde unsere Führung mit tollen Bildern davon wie es früher ausgesehen haben soll und es auch wirklich ausgesehen hat. Interessant war besonders die Waren die dort damals Angeboten wurden, von Lebkuchen über baumwollene Kinderkleider, Krippenfiguren und vieles mehr.”

“Summer 2009: after we had conducted a successful concierge academy with Katharina Schmidle last summer, we were ready for the second historic city stroll with our favorite city guide. The tour started from the inner courtyard of the new city hall to the “Alter Peter”. Afterwards the tour continued to the Alter Hof and to Maximilianstrasse. The guided tour was most interesting and our city guide Katharina Schmidle did a fantastic tour. Katharina offers guided tours in several languages and for each requirement, whether focus should be placed on art or architecture, history or another theme.”
