The Art Fair Munich – Fine Art & Antiques, the oldest of its kind in Germany annually focuses on antiques, the classic modern and non-European art. Not only since the first Munich Contempo, International Contemporary Art Fair in autumn 2010, the first fair for contemporary art and design in Munich, has Munich established itself as the center of young contemporary art. Within the framework of Open Art, the galleries for contemporary art regularly organize an art weekend in September which has become a fixed date in the international world of art over the past years.
