Newsflash: The house of Franz von Lenbach, Grand Master of painting, is finally showing its world-famous art again! After four years of renovations, the Lenbachhaus will be re-opened at the beginning of May 2013.
Both the picturesque villa with its Italian air, as well as the new building with its luminous golden façade designed by Norman Foster make a visit worthwhile.
It will be our pleasure to take you on a tour through the unparalleled collection of the Blauer Reiter, and to show you eminent works of international contemporary art as well as 19th century paintings.
